A veteran witch-breeder wakes up twenty years in the past and decides to raise a hero — but every lesson she teaches nudges him further toward the dark.

An old witch who has raised dozens of heroes realizes she's been replaying the same script for centuries. Given a second chance, she decides to do it 'right this time.' The result is a hero with a creepy amount of common sense, a witch who keeps getting out-cultivated, and a kingdom that has no idea what's coming.
