Late 1949, a young commander posted to the south seas decides not to go home — founding a country first, system loading second.

Yang Rui wakes as a young corps commander in late 1949, ordered south to support a doomed expedition. No way back — so no going back. He digs in: walls first, titles later, grain in the granary. Nation-building comes first; the system only wakes up after he takes the presidential oath. Fine — it's the icing: short-range becomes long-range, long-range becomes global coverage.
