Inicio / Romance histórico / Beauty of the Marquis' House

To break his nephew's marriage to a farm girl, the ruthless grandee seduced her himself — plan included, feelings absolutely not.

Marquis Huo Yanshi is the real power behind the throne and the man who raised his brilliant nephew to marry a grand chancellor's daughter. When the nephew returns from the countryside with the peasant girl who saved his life — already wed, no less — the Marquis decides to 'teach the boy a lesson' by pursuing the girl himself. The scheme works perfectly. Then she actually decides to leave, and the schemer catches the fever.
