Skeleton Soul Painting
骷髅幻戏图 · 西子绪
Knocks inside an empty wardrobe, a tap that drips with no water — and at midnight, a smile from the ceiling.
Lin Banxia lives alone in an apartment that is slowly being visited by something hungry. Then one night he opens his eyes to a snow-white skeleton sprawled on his ceiling, grinning down at him. Inspired by a real 12th-century Chinese painting and Call-of-Cthulhu sessions, this is cosy horror danmei: creepy, funny, and unexpectedly wholesome about what monsters want from lonely people.
